About Evida Co.

My name is Yael Bouzaglo and I am the artist behind Evida Co. I have always loved art and creating from a young age. My love for photography began at age 8 and began making jewelry around the age of 12 or so. Growing up my hobbies moved around but photography was always a constant. In 2018 I got my first job out of high school doing product photography for a well-known jewelry store in Ventura. I reconnected with jewelry making in late 2019 and mainly used it as a way to relax and be creative during my busy schedule. As I was working doing photography, E-commerce management, and marketing for my day job, I would make jewelry for my friends in my free time. When the pandemic hit in early 2020, I found myself making a bunch of dainty beaded pieces and quickly decided I wanted to create a platform to share and sell my work. I began posting my jewelry and photography work on Instagram in April 2020 while continuing my work for other small businesses as my main job.

I began doing markets in November of 2020 and that is when my jewelry business really changed. The success I was having selling in person led me to vending at 2-3 events per week and going full-time with my jewelry business from 2021 to 2022. During that time I maintained freelance work with photography, social media management, and web design on the side. Now in 2023 I am working full time between freelance work and selling jewelry in person at markets from San Luis Obispo to San Diego. Throughout my time selling jewelry in person and online, while helping other businesses do the same, I have found such a passion for creating content and strategizing how to best utilize the assets I create. I find so much joy in capturing a clients vision or bringing my own ideas to life through various creative channels.
